About the Movie
MCA is an Indian Telugu language movie in the action-comedy genre. Full form of the title of the movie is Middle-Class Abbayi (meaning- Middle-Class Boy). The movie was released on 21st of December 2017. Venu Sri Ram was the director and writer of the film and was produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Nani and Sai Pallavi were in the lead roles. Meanwhile, Vijay Verma and Bhumika Chawla were seen in pivotal roles.
Music of the film was composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The editing and cinematography were done by Prawin Pudi and Sameer Reddy respectively. The movie also managed to get released in Hindi version under the banner of Goldmines Telefilms in 2018 with the same title. Nani’s voice was greatly dubbed by Sanket Mhatre.
The film is all about a guy whose name is Nani (played by Nani himself), his brother is his life, but he also shares an interesting love-hate relationship with his sister-in-law Jyothi (played by Bhumika Chawla) but when Shiva (played by Vijay Verma) threatens his family and frauds her. There begins the story of MCA, the middle-class abbayi.
The film got mixed reviews and managed to get 2.5 out 5 stars from the critics. With the budget of 30crore, the filmmakers managed to collect 70crore. The Nani fans will really like the film or those who are drama stuck will also enjoy the film. The cinematography was done really well, whereas the songs were not satisfying enough.
