The one you got has so many defects and not everyone else’s. It is an isolated case, not everyone has the same problems with yours. Mine is working perfectly fine. No issues with the touch screen or whatsoever. Don’t really care if it has been discontinued so long as we do get the system update for years to come as apple is excellent to committing service after sales. It’s better that they cut the iphone X for bargained iphones this year. That’s rather painful to see after years seeing the phone in the market with much cheaper price.
On previous iPhones, you were able to show the battery percentage in the status bar or see it in Control Center, but on iPhone X, XS, XS Max & XR, you can see the battery percentage only in the Control Center. Just swipe down from the top-right corner of your display.
On the earlier versions, you can see the battery percentage in the status bar itself. Go to the Settings > Battery > Turn on Battery Percentage. When the Low Power Mode is on, the battery percentage will always be shown in the status bar. Battery Percentage is not available on the iPod touch.
If you’re unsure and don’t already know how to access the Control Center panel in your iPhone, just swipe down from the top-right corner of the display where the battery icon and signal strength indicators are situated. If you do not want to actually use the Control Center, you can simply swipe down to see the percentage left.
