Karen Gillan Shares Behind-The-Scene Image From The Avengers 4 Sets

In the words of Kevin Feige, Avengers 4 is the culmination of everything that has happened in the MCU till now. We know that Marvel Cinematic universe will greatly expand to include around 67 comic-book characters who are likely to appear in Infinity War movies. The first one is from Team Avengers perspective while the second one is entirely based on Thanos comic-book storyline.

There were many titles to choose among a host of comic-books related to the Infinity war storyline – Thanos Quest, Annihilation Conquest, Infinity Gauntlet, Infinity War, Infinity Crusade etc. Finally, the studio decided to name the third movie as “Avengers Infinity War” and the fourth movie is still untitled. This clearly indicates that the two parts have completely separate storylines. The classic comic-book story is unlikely to change where Thanos first collects all the Infinity Stones, then he assembles them to create an all-powerful Infinity gauntlet, cause a global catastrophe and then in Avengers 4, Team Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy will unite and fight mad titan to save the world.

Last week, Marvel released the first trailer for the Avengers Infinity War and it has become the most viewed trailer of the year. The movie will release next year but the production for the next part is already in works. While only fewer details about the movie are out, but thanks to Karen Page, we are getting a look at the behind-the-scenes image of Nebula from the sets of Avengers 4.

The actress is also starring in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, shared a picture on her Instagram. She is wearing a black hoodie and a black baseball hat featuring the infinity gauntlet with all the infinity stones in the image. She has mentioned that it’s her last day of work for the week and she’s going back to the UK to do press for her upcoming movie.

Avengers 4

While the photo isn’t revealing any new information about the Avengers 4, but the actress earlier talked about her experience while shooting the film right after the Avengers Infinity War and that it’s a massive undertaking. She told Den of Geek:

“So, this is the longest shoot in the world. It’s been going since January, and it goes right up until December. And then it goes into reshoots — like immediate, more additional photography — next year. So, it’s like an ongoing thing, which is really cool, because it feels like a whole family now.”

Earlier in October, set photos showing Jeremy Renner in a totally new and different costume appeared on Twitter. Even though most of his outfit is covered in order to prevent leaking spoilers, after looking closely at these photos we see that there are gold markings on his knees and shins that look almost exactly like Clint Barton’s Ronin costume, not his Hawkeye look.

Clint became Ronin in the comics after the events of Civil War when he rejoins the Avengers. Now it is more or less confirmed that this would be the case in Avengers 4 as well and we are indeed going to see the next chapter of Hawkeye’s solo story.

Last week also, set photos showing Robert Downey Jr. in the same shirt that he wore in “The Avengers” were shared. In another picture, he is wearing the S.H.I.E.L.D uniform, so it’s likely that the scene is set before Winter Soldier when S.H.I.E.L.D. was brought down to the ground. Mark Ruffalo can also be seen in the images.

Here’s the official synopsis of the movie:

“As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain”.

The studio has been building the hype of Infinity War over a series of films, so expectations of Marvel fans are very high, some even believe that the movie will not only break the record of highest box-office collections for a superhero movie but of any movie. And it’s heartening to see that things are falling into the right place.

Avengers: Infinity War to arrive in theaters on May 4, 2018, Avengers 4 likely a year later on May 3, 2019. CHEERS!
