Petyr Baelish or popularly known as the Little finger was one of the fascinating characters on any T.V show ever. He was a master conspirator. He served in the small council of King Robert Baratheon as “Master of the coin”, moved on to become Lord of Harrenhal with his gift for political improvisation, and now he is Lord Protector of the Vale. He has an uncanny ability to play everyone at once and gets exactly what he wants. He has played with Cersei Lannister, Sansa Stark, Roose Bolton in the North, only to rise further and further. He was always the winner, no matter who is fighting whom. He had sky-high ambitions and drive which made him nothing short of a major contender for the Iron Throne in his own eyes.
In the last episode, he again outsmarted Arya Stark who fell into his trap and went inside his chambers only to find a note which he wanted her to find. It goes back to season 1 when Ned Stark was captured, and Cersei Lannister forced Sansa to sign a letter which asks Robb Stark to bend the knee and pledge his loyalty to King Joffrey who is keeping her well. This will likely create a split between the Stark sisters and Little finger will create chaos and climb the ladder.
But the problem with the plan was that he has not covered all his tracks and his sins caught up with him. He united the Stark sisters instead of breaking them apart which became a reason for his downfall.
Sansa Stark, the lady of Winterfell, sentenced him to death for playing a role in poisoning Lord Arryn (first Hand of the King), betraying Lord Eddard Stark and conspiring with the Boltons against House Stark.
Arya Stark slit his throat with Valyrian dagger that was used by an assassin Catspaw hired by King Jofferey (it was actually Little Finger) to kill Bran Stark after he caught Cersei and Jaime having sex in the tower. He was saved by his dire wolf Summers, as a result, Catelyn Stark went to meet Little Finger at King’s Landing and showed him the blade, he told her it belonged to Tyrion Lannister which led to his capture at Vale and triggered the great “War of the Five Kings”.

The killing of Jon Arryn:
He was Lord of the Vale and Hand of the King for King Robert Baratheon. He came to know of Joffrey’s real parentage i.e he is the son of Jaime and Cersei. His death seemed a work of Lannisters, but it was Lord Baelish who pulled the strings from behind and convinced Lady Lysa to poison her husband for him. Guess what…she did it.
Lied to Catelyn Stark:
When Bran was attacked by an unknown assailant carrying valyrian blade, she confiscated it, went to King’s Landing and showed it to Little finger. He lied to her as he told her it allegedly belonged to Tyrion Lannister.
Betrayed Ned Stark:
After the death of Jon Arryn, Lord Eddard Stark became the hand and he was totally played by Little finger who fed him half-truths and lies. He once put a dagger on his throat and told him that he shouldn’t have trusted him. Ned Stark was later imprisoned for treason and beheaded on the orders of King Joffrey.
The murder of Ros:
She was a prostitute in Winterfell but demonstrated a keen awareness of people’s motivations. She got tangled in power struggle between Varys and Littlefinger, she betrayed Baelish and paid it with her life.
The assassination of Joffrey:
King Joffrey was poisoned at the purple wedding, the poison came from Sansa’s necklace fetched by Lady Olenna and planted by Little finger.
Pushing Lysa Arryn through the Moon door:
When Lysa started to throw it at Sansa out of sheer paranoia, the Little finger pushed her off the cliff as no one messes with Sansa except him.
Handling Sansa over to Ramsay Bolton:
In his pursuit of power and capturing Winterfell, he decided to convince Sansa to marry a psychopath and when he would retake the North from Stannis Baratheon (who would defeat Boltons, but got his ass handed to him), Sansa will be his queen.
