Avengers Infinity War had been under production for quite a while until shooting finally ended in June. We have seen a lot of set photos and we also got a detailed description of the Avengers Infinity War trailer that was shown at D23 Expo and Comic Con 2017. We came to know a lot about the movie but there are a lot of things that are still questionable and unknown. Here are some aspects of the movie Avengers Infinity War that is still a mystery.
Where is the Soul Stone??
Till now we have only seen 5 out of the 6 Infinity Stones that exist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The last one to be revealed was the Time Stone which exists in the Eye of Agamoto which Doctor Strange carries. But where is the Soul Stone? Black Panther has been confirmed not to reveal an Infinity Stone and we haven’t seen the infinity stone in Thor: Ragnarok.
How ‘Death’ will be depicted??
‘Death’ is the reason why Thanos causes all the mayhem in the comics. He is her lover and Death is the one who influences him to destroy the universe. Well, in the MCU, there hasn’t been a mention of Death anywhere till now, but in this Universe, Hela is the Goddess of Death and it looks like she might be the MCU’s version of ‘Death’ and be the ultimate big bad who influences Thanos.
How will Bucky overcome his brain condition??
The last time fans saw Bucky Barnes he was being placed in cold storage in Wakanda, giving new meaning to the name Winter Soldier. He willingly volunteers for a deep freeze until a cure for the brainwashing he received courtesy of HYRDA is discovered. But what kind of tech and cure will be used on him, as we know that he was fighting with Black Panther and the Wakandan people against Thanos?
Who will be the next Captain America??
We know that big MCU characters are going to die in Infinity War and Steve Rogers has a high chance of being one of them. If he does end up dying, or as we know that he is going to be Captain Nomad at first, who will be the next Captain America if he is not up for it? Will it be Sam or Bucky? It seems that the Winter Soldier might be a better choice for taking up the mantle.
Where is Nick Fury??
We last saw Nick Fury in Age of Ultron and he has been absent ever since. We recently heard reports that he is neither going to be in Black Panther nor in the two Avengers Movies. He only has been confirmed for Captain Marvel which is a prequel movie set up in the 90s. So, the big question here is that where is he and what has he been up to all this time?
Why is Vision in human form??
In the various set photos of Infinity War that we got to see till now, one of them was Vision in human form kissing Wanda. The big question that arises over here is that how did that happen. Taking the Infinity Stone out of his head does not do that anyway. So, we will have to wait for this one to be solved when the movie comes out.
How Will Ant-Man and The Wasp connect to Infinity War??
Ant-Man and The Wasp are going to come out in between Avengers 3 and 4. Ant-man is going to be in Infinity War, so the plot connecting his sequel to Avengers seems pretty confusing. At one point he is in Infinity War fighting against Thanos, and as soon as that ends for a while, he goes on to solve a more personal dispute and comes right back in Avengers 4? That’s pretty odd and it would be really interesting to see how Marvel handles it.
Is any of the big MCU characters actually a Skrull??
This theory has been in play ever since Marvel announced that the main villains for the Captain Marvel movie will be the Skrulls and we will find out in that movie that why haven’t the Skrulls been mentioned till now. Now the theory was that a big MCU character might turn out to be a Skrull agent. The biggest person in suspicion is Nick Fury. Other than him there are various characters under the radar like Cap, Tony, Natasha, and Hawkeye.
What is the big spoiler in the Avengers 4 title??
The big thing that doesn’t let fans sleep at night is that what will be the title for Avengers 4 and why is Marvel being so secretive about the movie. it was announced that the Avengers 4 title has not been revealed yet because it will be a big spoiler for Infinity War. Some fans would want to stay far away from knowing that title but it’s still a big mystery.
What next if not Phase 4
Marvel Studios head honcho Kevin Feige has cast doubt on whether there will be the fourth phase of its shared cinematic universe after Infinity War has set up the current chapter’s end game. Does it spell the end of Avengers outings and the beginning of a new age of standalone series, or is Feige alluding to something entirely different? His comments also suggest the MCU is undergoing a reboot of sorts in the wake of Infinity War and its untitled sequel, with the old guard of Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor, making way for a new generation of heroes. But if Marvel is phasing out phases, how will its strategy change go forward?
