Stan Lee was sometimes called as Mickey Mouse of the Marvel universe. Some people call him the “God of Marvel comics”. He was certainly one of the chief architects of the massive Marvel universe. In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, it was revealed that he was “The Watchers’” informant in every MCU movie till now. He was the creator of many popular Marvel superhero comics like Hulk, Thor, Spiderman, Fantastic Four, X-Men etc.

Thor

Well surely someone as talented as Stan Lee can be the only one to actually create a God, Thor the Norse God of thunder and the son of Odin was created by Stan Lee. He wielding his hammer and using his supernatural powers fights the villains amongst whom the main one is his adoptive brother, Loki.

Natasha Romanoff aka Natasha Romanova first appeared as an antagonist in the comics. She is a Russian, who was raised by the Department X program for orphan girls, turning into becoming trained spies. Natasha is trained in the red room, enhanced physically and psychologically and is brainwashed. It took her years to get out of her psychological trauma. But later she becomes a part of the Avengers. Her character loved by all, especially after being played by the hot Scarlett Johansson.

Ant-Man

Another complex character playing not in black and white but somewhere in the gray area, having the powers of shrinking to the level of an ant, Hank Pym is sometimes a member of the Avengers while sometimes taking them on himself.

Doctor Strange

Dr. Steven Strange after losing his hands in an accident makes him go to Nepal, where he gets the mystic powers that make him even defeat foes such as Dormammu. He is the best magician there is in the Marvel Universe.

Black Panther

Actually, Black Panther is a mantle that is passed on through the generations of T’Challa’s family. Not just that T’Challa, the king of Wakanda is an extremely worthy person even beating Captain America in fights and Iron Man in intelligence. Moreover, he is known as the richest superhero in not just Marvel but in the whole comic book universe.

Fantastic Four

Fantastic Four was the first creation of Stan Lee with Jack Kirby in 1961. Unlike other superheroes, these superheroes were flawed, use to deal with self-doubts, and they use to argue with each other. It brought a new level of realism in the field of comics and these characters became an instant hit.

Daredevil

Also known as the Man Without Fear, he was the first superhero with a disability. Stan Lee created Daredevil back in 1964 with artist Bill Everett.

Scarlet Witch

Scarlett Witch and her twin brother, Quicksilver, were an attempt of Stan Lee to create villains that weren’t bad throughout their lives. She eventually became one of the most powerful and important characters in Marvel. She has powers that can warp reality and she once wiped out all mutants by merely uttering “No More Mutants”. Her possibility of becoming a supervillain is high after Marvel Phase 4.

Inhumans

The team of Inhumans, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965, first appeared in Fantastic Four #45. After which they appeared in many comics including their own which ended in 1999 after a total of 12 issues. The team also appeared on the second season of the TV series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and now they are coming up with their own live-action series on ABC.

Hawkeye is one of the most prominent and funniest members of The Avengers in comics. Stan Lee created him as a villain with artist Don Heck for “Tales of Suspense” #57 in 1964 (against Iron Man). He lost his hearing in the 1983 four-issue “Hawkeye” miniseries which is created by Mark Gruenwald.
