There are superheroes in the comicverse, some who are strong, some who are really strong, while some are Gods. But in the comicverse, not even the Gods are safe. Here we have a list where even the Gods were killed by Superheroes and Supervillains:
Superman Kills Kalibak
In the Injustice: Gods Among Us, storyline when Superman is corrupted after he by mistake kills Lois and his unborn kid resulting in the total destruction of Metropolis, he becomes a ruthless dictator. At that time Kalibak, Darkseid’s son attacks, worst time bro, what happens next is that Supes with his amazing strength kills Kalibak.
Thor Is Killed By Serpent
Serpent is actually Odin’s brother, Cul. And it is not at all easy to kill Thor, but this too has happened more than one time. Here Thor and Serpent trade blows but what happens, in the end, is, when the might by weakened Thor hits Serpent, he too falls, both Gods die at the same time.
Darkseid Is Killed By Black Racer
In the storyline ‘The Darkseid War’ Anti-Monitor and Darkseid are at the opposite ends, fighting and in between the two, there are the Justice League and the Crime Syndicate. This happens and Darkseid summons the Black racer to kill the Anti-Monitor, what happens next is that the Anti-Monitor gets his Black Racer-Flash hybrid who guts Darkseid making him scream, “The anti-life equation is in my veins”
Galactus eaten by Zombies
In Marvel Zombie, there was something which, well can’t be called superhero stuff, as it is the Marvel superheroes who transform into zombies, Silver Surfer being the last. At that very time, Galactus comes to attack Earth, too bad for him, all the Earth’s mightiest heroes literally devoured the Devourer. Spider-Man, Hulk, Giant Man, Iron Man, all zombified come to attack Galactus, after which their powers increase to such an extent that they go eat people off other planets.
Thanos Killed By Drax
Thanos here is disintegrated by his enemy, or we should call him someone who just was created in order to end Thanos, Drax. Drax kills Thanos, who then comes in the form of Death, who again is his lover and has a special relationship with him. When he returns, Drax again kills him, only for him to return again, Thanos again is put to rest but survives, and Nova and Star Lord try their hardest to keep him in the collapsing universe.
Darkseid Kills Orion
Yeah we all know how big a bastard Darkseid is. But he really went off the limits, when the War Monger even killed off his own son. Darkseid to fulfill his purpose can go to any extent, this he shows when he kills his own son, Orion, who again is one of the New Gods with a radion bullet. This bullet in the end of the arc is used by Batman to kill Darkseid, who is not dead though, but left mortally wounded in the end.
Loki Torn By Void
Loki, after seeing what all he had done in ‘Dark Reign’ come to be sorry for his actions, as this time, Void was unleashed, who put Asgard in a lot of danger, this much destruction had never been caused to their home planet. Not just that Loki using the Nors stones here, brings back the dead heroes in order for them to have a second take at Void. Witnessing what the trickster had done, Void becomes infuriated and turns towards him, before being torn into two by him, Loki apologizes to Thor for all the menace he created.
Lord Chaos and Master Order Kill the Living Tribunal
No one is safe in the Marvel Universe, not even someone as strong as the Living Tribunal. This happens when the Living Tribunal, the servant of The One Above All turns the Devourer Galactus into ‘The Lifebringer’. In order to maintain the balance of the cosmic world, Master Order and Lord Chaos ask him to mend his actions, which the Living Tribunal says no to. This results in both killing the Living Tribunal.
Sentry Kills Ares
In the 2010 miniseries, Osborn strikes again taking control over the govt. and killing all those who oppose him. One of his allies Sentry is manipulated to take control of Asgard, where he is faced by the Olympian warrior, Ares. Both have a duel and in the end, Sentry rips Ares open leaving all his internal organs everywhere. This was too dark for Marvel’s taste.
Magneto defeats Apocalypse
There have been several timelines that have been interlinked with each other. In one of the instances X-Men attack Apocalypse’s fortification, where Magneto, with the help of Bishop, manages to a correct timeline. After a while, the son of Scott Summers and Jean Grey, Nat Grey, joins the fight. Later on, Magneto kills Apocalypse by blasting him in the air.
Adam Warlock kills Thanos
Adam Warlock once had Soul Gem and this was the last Gem that Thanos needed to deteriorate the universe. Later on, Thanos manages to trap Avengers in a certain time and injure Warlock. But after being interrupted by The Thing and Spider-Man, Thanos is turned into a stone before Soul Gem was pulled back.
Hank Pym kills Galactus
In The Marvel Zombies series, after Silver Surfer comes to earth, superhero zombies feel that they possess some of Surfer’s Power Cosmic. Later on, Bruce Banner, Luke Cage, Captain America, Tony Stark, Wolverine and Peter Parker, along with Hank Pym work on a Power Cosmic amplifier in Pym’s lab. The blast emitted from the amplifier cut through Galactus and kills him.
Thor kills his grandfather
Loki has always been a bane for Thor and looked for ways to make him feel bad. In Thor #600, Odin’s father, Bor was brought up back to life and that’s when Loki’s evil mind look out for a battle with his brother Thor. After a while, Bor gets boiled up after seeing Thor using Odinforce. But he had no choice other than killing his grandfather.
Deadpool kills Thor
The Merc With The Mouth is now one of the most-loved Marvel superheroes. After winning his way through 2016’s movie of the same name, Deadpool has appeared as invincible. In ‘Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe’. Deadpool faces the Avengers and uses Pym particles. It was hard for him to defeat Thor, but he manages to enlarge Mjolnir and tuck Thor beneath the hammer.
Superman kills Hercules
In ‘INJUSTICE, YEAR 4 #13’, things went out of control. Wonder Woman got almost killed by Hercules but was saved by Shazam. Batwoman on seeing the advantage attacks Wonder Woman but decides not to kill her.
But Hercules wasn’t so lucky. Shazam taunts him, saying, “…I have the power of six gods!” before defeating him in a fist fight but decides to spare Hercules for the moment. However, Superman had something else in his mind. He decides to take on Hercules from outer space and crashes down on him like a meteor and ends his life.
