15 Marvel Characters Who Can Easily Destroy The Celestials

Celestials were introduced for the first time in the MCU in the Guardians of the Galaxy but it failed to realize the potential of these cosmic creatures. They are one of the oldest, most powerful entities in Marvel universe. They are sometimes known as “space gods” who have limitless powers. But there is always a bigger fish in the sea. Here’re 15 Marvel characters who can take down a Celestial:

Thanos:

In the Avengers: Infinity War, he would assemble the infinity gauntlet embedded with infinity stones which would make him one of the most powerful creature (like a God) in the entire MCU. In the “Infinity Gauntlet” comic-book event, Thanos denied Galactus (the World eater) to consume a planet which crumbled due to the Mad Titan’s rage. He has defeated Celestials many times before.

Galactus:

He is one of the most powerful cosmic creatures in the entire comic-book universe. He is sometimes known as “Devourer of Worlds”. He was born out of the destruction of a previous universe, there aren’t many who can stop him, let alone beat him. In fact, Stan Lee also said that Galactus is certainly the most powerful character in the Marvel universe. He is capable enough to defeat the Celestials.

Hercules:

He is the God of Gods who have accumulated insane powers that Superman can only dream of. Well, to put things in perspective, he is more powerful than Odin or Zeus. He can fly, teleport, emit energy blasts with his bare hands or eyes. He can cause massive shock waves just by walking. Still, think Celestials are unbeatable?

Horde:

They are also known as “anti-celestials” or The Fulcrum, they are against the agenda of Celestials and insanely powerful entities.

Hunger:

It is a powerful multi-dimensional creature that consumes entire realities, while Galactus consumes entire planets. The Hunger was able to enter Earth-616 dimension and consumed Galactus vessel, a feat nobody could ever replicate.

Dr. Doom:

He is so powerful that he was able to capture the power of the “Beyonder” who defeated all the celestial beings in the Marvel universe. He also became God of Doom. He was able to beat Thanos and crush Black Panther who had infinity gauntlet. Need I say more?

Franklin Richards:

He is the son of Reed (Mister Fantastic) and Susan Richards (Invisible Woman). He can warp reality at his will. He could repair dying stars. He killed a celestial with a punch and restored Galactus. He made him his herald to do his bidding. He is powerful enough to defeat the Celestials.

Jean Grey:

In the plot, Jean Grey almost killed by solar energy, emerged into something else, she donned the mantle of fire and defeated the ruthless alien Emperor. She merged with Phoenix force, could hold entire timelines in her hands and destroyed Apocalypse. She became so powerful that she could even defeat Galactus (Devourer of Worlds) in the end. In a shocking turn of events, she turned on X-Men and then consumed an entire star, committing atrocities by the millions and thus the name Dark Phoenix. She can definitely take down a Celestial in this state.

Apocalypse Twins:

They get their name from Apocalypse, but actually, they are the children of Warren Worthington III/Archangel. The Twins once got their hands on Jarnbjorn, the battle axe which Thor used before lifting Mjolnir. They took down a Celestial but they were eventually killed by mutant fire.

Goblin Force:

The concept of Goblin force is similar to that of Phoenix force, it can absorb an endless amount of energy which is why Celestials were defeated in the end.

Molecule Man:

He is literally a living bomb that would destroy the entire universe, as he has the powers to manipulate all matter engineered by the Beyonders.

The Living Tribunal:

He is the safe-keeper of the multi-verse. He told Adam Warlock that one hero cannot possess Infinity gems and forced him to split it among members of Infinity Watch. He is a giant humanoid with three faces acting as a Supreme court of the multi-verse.

Solaris:

It is the powerful supercomputer from 853rd century. This man made tyrant sun created itself to infect 20th century machinery through a techno-evil virus. Superman was a baby in front of this sentient star.

The Beyonder:

He has more power than all reality. He could erase death, destroyed Celestials, destroy multi-verse and galaxies.

Reed Richards:

Celestials

There is wide consensus that Reed Richards a.k.a Mr. Fantastic is the man with the highest intellect. He has mastered practically every science known to man – time, space or inter-dimensional. He is a child prodigy who is decades ahead of his time. He holds multiple Ph.D.’s in theoretical and applied physics. His IQ is 267 which is stated to be “Level Twelve Intellect” by Tony Stark. Chris Lee, a Marvel fan said:

“A true polymath who dabbles in numerous scientific disciplines, he is widely considered to be the smartest person in the world. Over the course of his career, Richards has masterminded scores of inventions, experiments, and theories that have had a lasting impact on the Marvel Universe. His countless patents have funded the existence of the Fantastic Four for years, providing them with the financial wherewithal to explore the cutting edge frontiers of known science. His vast intellect driving the FF’s explorations of alternate dimensions, timelines, and galaxies. If that weren’t enough, his mutated brain possesses the ability to stretch itself into new and ever-changing formations, just like his physical body, meaning there may be no limit to how smart he becomes”.

He can easily figure out a way to defeat Celestials through his insanely dangerous intellect.
