10 Superheroes Who Have Never Died

While it is very famous for superheroes to die, there are some even such who have never kicked the bucket. Here is a list of some such superheroes:

Luke Cage

Luke Cage first appeared on ‘Luke Cage: Power Man Vol. 1’, the character with impenetrable and bulletproof skin has also made his way on the Netflix show named ‘Luke Cage’. Also, the character is a member of the Young Avengers and can also be seen on the cartoon show, Ultimate Spider-Man. It has been 45 years since the character is going, but for how long? That is the question.

Zatanna

Zatanna is undoubtedly known for her powers with magic. Daughter of a great magician, she takes up the fight after her father is missing and she sets up her crusade to not just find him but also fight with evil. Zatanna isn’t one of the most powerful or famous superheroes but she has her worth in her own field, having also fought alongside the likes of Batman.

Susan Storm

Her better-known name is ‘The Invisible Girl’ if that doesn’t give away her powers we don’t know what will. Along with being invisible, Mrs. Reed Richards also has the powers to project force fields, as big or small as she deems fit. She has been going with the Fantastic 4 since a long while and though has been portrayed to be weaker than the rest but she is the only one of them who hasn’t ever kicked the bucket.

Jay Garrick

This would come as a surprise to most readers that Garrick, the first Flash hasn’t yet ever kicked the bucket. He came first in 1940, after which his publication ceased due to decreased popularity. But that wasn’t the end for the Hermes Helmet wearing superhero, who well came again in the Barry Allen Flash comics at the time of ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’ and since then has been acting as a mentor and a person to look up to for various versions of the Flash.

Beast

Also dubbed as Henry Mccoy, Beast is one of the founding members of X-Men, possessing mutant powers. But despite that, he decided to opt for science and worked as a research scientist at Brand Corporation. While scientifically experimenting with his mutant powers he transformed himself into a blue-furred mutant. The character hasn’t yet found a perspective for himself in life and continues to work on himself, perhaps a death is what is needed? to give the character some more depth.

Falcon

He undoubtedly is one of the best sidekicks, one has to offer. Being someone whom even Captain America can blindly rely on is a great achievement in itself. Flying in a suit and battling villains is another, being such a great sidekick that after the death of the main superhero you are asked to step into his shoes is altogether on a different level. Well, that is what the Falcon has achieved. Also, it has never been the case that the fans see him die.

Roy Harper

Roy Harper, an ex-heroin addict is taken in by Oliver Queen after his adoptive father dies. An equally skilled archer, trained in all kinds of fighting styles and weapons by the Green Arrow himself, this one had to be on this list. The guy even had his own comic run for about 50 years. What is fascinating that he has never ever died.

Barbara Gordon

Though many women have had the title, Barbara Gordon has come to be considered Batgirl by many people. She is the daughter of Gotham Police Commissioner James Gordon. In her real life, Barbara had a doctorate in library science and worked as the head of the Gotham Library. Barbara is also in one of the most provocative stories in comics, Alan Moore’s Batman: The Killing Joke. In the graphic novel, Barbara is shot in the spine by the Joker and paralyzed, and she remained in a wheelchair for many years, giving up her Batgirl identity in favor of a new one, Oracle.

Quicksilver

superheroes

No guys this is not a joke, Quicksilver has never ever died in the comics. As funny as this may seem after seeing him die after making his first appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron, the guy has never died in any of the storylines.

She Hulk

Jennifer Walters appeared the first time in the comics in her own series Savage She Hulk#1 in the year1980. Lee’s creation sure is a great superhero facing all the same issues as her male counterpart. Undoubtedly she too is almost unbeatable and unbreakable.
