Thor Ragnarok Trailer May Have Revealed How THANOS Will Be Killed In Infinity War

Thor Ragnarok is inspired by Jack Kirby’s Ragnarok comic wherein Asgard is burned to the ground and is rebuilt from the ashes. Thor is the God of Thunder, heir to the throne and protector of the realms. He stands for good and what is right while his brother is mischievous and cunning. But there have been many questions raised by the elders of the universe on whether Thor is worthy of taking Odin’s place in Asgard. He will confront an empowered Loki and Hela (guardian of hell) and he has to prove himself to be worthy of Odin’s powers and pave the way for the rebirth of Asgardian society.

The concept art released by the Marvel showed Hela standing amongst legions of dead Asgardians bowing before her. In the new trailer released by the studio, Cate Blanchett’s character Hela is seen destroying Thor’s hammer Mjolnir.

The latest issue of Thor comics titled “The Unworthy Thor” finally answers this long-running mystery in the Marvel universe. In 2014 story of Original Sin, Nick Fury said something in Thor’s ear and he got incapacitated. He couldn’t lift Mjolnir and his powers passed onto Jane Foster (played by Natalie Portman in movies). The evil villain Gorr whose mission is to remove all gods from the universe considers Thor psychologically weak, which is the reason why he can’t lift the hammer.

The trailer also features an armor which is similar to “The Tester” i.e one of Marvel’s powerful celestials. Another Celestial featured in MCU when Collector was explaining the forces guiding the realm, he mentioned “The Searcher”. These are ancient beings which date back to the beginning of the universe.

In comics, there is a very powerful armor known as “Godkiller” which transfers the powers of celestials to the person who wears it. If  Iron Man wears this suit, not even Thanos with an Infinity gauntlet can defeat him. Well, it would be an epic spectacle to see Iron Man with Guardians & other Avengers behind him take down the mad titan. CHEERS!
