Tom Holland recently let the cat out of the bag when he [sort of] confirmed that Spider-Man would be making an appearance in Marvel’s Avengers Infinity War. The actor told L’uomo Vogue:

“The approval for the role in Spider-Man arrives personally also by Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans ‘They who convinced the Marvel: the producers wanted to be sure that I was the right person before entrusting three films over the next four years, including Avengers Infinity War. “

An exciting prospect that many fans had speculated on since the hero’s debut in Captain America: Civil War. Another question comes to mind with this piece of news, what role would he have in the movie? Here are a few scenarios of what his role could be:

The New Avenger:

This one is a long shot, but it never hurts to dream. Spider-Man, in the comics, fought side by side with the Avengers on many adventures. The hero has also battled Thanos on various occasions as well, so it would only be fitting that he become the new Avenger, because Spider-Man is a good fighter, is wily like a fox and knows how to beat his enemies. Traits that should factor in to be an Avenger.

He Only Cameos For The Finale Fight:

Spider-Man made his first impression on the back of the epic Civil War fight between Team Captain America and team Iron Man. There is a possible chance that the same could happen in Infinity war. After all, Tony Stark is a mentor to Peter and that loyalty can be tested again on the battlefield where it’s most prominently showcased.
