3 Female Superheroes Who Could Replace Male Heroes In Movies

Marvel Cinematic Universe has featured some strong female characters. Characters like Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, Nebula and Gomora from Guardians Of The Galaxy and the X-Men crew. But they have not been lead players, something Marvel still has to work on. Here is a list of female superheroes who are as strong as their male counterparts, who have the potential to replace them in the movies. MCU, Take Note!

X-23/Wolverine:

There have already been speculations of Laura Kinney aka X-23 replacing Wolverine in the upcoming movies. X-23 is the clone of Wolverine, which basically makes the Logan her biological father. The upcoming movie Logan has been said to be based on the Old Man Logan and Death Of Wolverine comics. If you are familiar with the comics, Death Of Wolverine, in particular, Laura takes over the mantle of Wolverine after Logan’s death. Logan was a father figure to Laura, and the same relationship can also be seen in the movie trailer. How it will pan out is something only the movie will tell.

Lady Thor/Thor:

In the comics, Thor’s lady love Jane Foster takes on the role Lady Thor. Natalie Portman may not be featured in Thor: Ragnarok, but there could be a chance for the movie version of Jane Foster to take on the Hammer. Ragnarok was a comic event which saw all the Asgardian Gods be put to death. How much of the comic arc the new film Thor: Ragnarok will take up is unknown. The events of Avengers: Infinity War could also result in the death of Thor, which could pave a way for Lady Thor to enter the movie adaptations.

She-Hulk/Hulk:

female superheroes

She-Hulk was born when Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Bruce Banner needed a blood transfusion and Banner was the only relative available. Banner transferred his gamma-radiated blood to Walters. She transformed into a tamer version of the Hulk. But unlike her male counterpart, she retains her green skin and her intelligence. This could be a good reason for She-Hulk to enter the movies, as Hulk has proven more than once how unreliable he is. And again, Infinity War could result in the death of more superheroes if it sees its basis from the comics, leaving an opening for a new hero to entering. She-Hulk has already been rumored to be getting a TV show, but it would be more satisfactory to see her on film.
