New ‘LOGAN’ Trailer Is Finally Here And It’s EPIC!

Fox’s Logan has been teasing fans and playing coy for the past few weeks. Hugh Jackman and director James Mangold have been feeding fans bits of fleshy morsel for fans to bite on in between wpnx, the movie’s official Instagram posting obscure picture that relates to the film. Hugh Jackman promised fans a trailer on his Twitter yesterday, and now it is finally here!

The trailer definitely lives up to its R-Rating as Logan gets straight into the graphic action. The hero uses his claws to slice right through a man’s skull from his throat. All X-Men movies have previously been PG-13, which many fans have cried foul over. But since Logan is Jackman’s last tenure as Wolverine, Fox seems to be going all out on the movie. Deadpool’s success was also a great assurance that there actually was a willing audience to watch an R-rated superhero movie.

The trailer also has Johnny Cash’s song “Hurt”playing throughout that makes it seem more like a drama than an action movie. It should be noted that “Hurt”was one of Johnny Cash’s last songs or the last song he released before he died of cancer-a fitting anthem for a fledging superhero mutant.  The trailer also showcased characters we had seen pictures of- Professor Charles Xavier, Donald Pierce, and the young X-23.

The trailer also showcased the futuristic western setting. The same setting that was used in the comic book story arc. The biggest surprise from the entire trailer has to be Wolverine a.k.a Logan being more human than we have ever seen before. The fearless loner now hides from enemies seeking to kill mutants. He has trouble putting on his shirt because its hurts his arm, and he seems to be drinking more than his usual quota. And if you’ve seen Wolverine in any movie, he is always perched in a dingy bar in the middle of nowhere. It is indeed an exciting trailer, that has not disappointed in the least.
