Wolverine 3 may be the last stint of Patrick Stewart as Professor X

The Australian superstar Hugh Jackman is very excited and emotional at the same time about playing Logan in Wolverine 3 to be directed by James Mangold. He has given over a decade of his life to this character and have played it like a boss. He has been revered by both critics and fans for his masterful performances in successive X-Men movies. It’s almost unimaginable to even think of any other actor besides Hugh Jackman to bring this character to life on screen. It’s confirmed that his character is inspired by “Old Man Logan” story based on dystopian future where villains finally prevailed after Wolverine was caught in a trap laid down by Mysterio. Another news which came out recently was that the actor Boyd Holbrook (Narcos fame) will be playing big villain in the movie. His character has been described as “a relentless, calculating and intense head of Security for a global enterprise who is set against Jackman’s clawed Wolverine/Logan hero”.

Simon Kinberg, the producer, revealed to Collider that Wolverine 3 will be R-rated. He further said “It’s a very radical, bold, different Wolverine than you’ve ever seen in any” of these movies. It’s violent, it’s kind of like a western in its tone. It’s just a very cool, different film.” One important detail shared by Hugh Jackman with the fans on twitter was that we might see “berserker rage” of Wolverine in the last one. It’s a mental state when Wolverine turns absolutely crazy, goes on a rampage, without thinking about the moral consequences of the act.

But Hugh Jackman is not the only one who is going to hang his boots from X-Men franchise, Patrick Stewart told his fans that the upcoming Wolverine movie could be his last stint as the character Professor X. He said in an interview with ITV News that it’s possible that he may pop up again in future X-Men films, as he was killed off once and he still returned. But this time, he will be unlike anything you have ever seen.

The final wolverine movie is going to hit theatres on March 3, 2017.
