Coldplay’s 2016 “A Head Full of Dreams” Tour Dates

Coldplay is a British rock band formed in 1996 by lead vocalist Chris Martin and lead guitarist Jonny Buckland at University College London. After they formed under the name Pectoralz, Guy Berryman joined the group as a bassist and they changed their name to Starfish. Will Champion joined as a drummer, backing vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist, completing the line-up. Manager Phil Harvey is often considered an unofficial fifth member. The band renamed themselves “Coldplay” in 1998.

The band has won 62 awards from 209 nominations throughout their career, including eight Brit Awards—winning Best British Group three times—five MTV Video Music Awards and seven Grammy Awards from 31 nominations. Coldplay has sold more than 80 million records worldwide, making them one of the world’s best-selling music artists.

In spite of their worldwide success, the band continues to tour relentlessly, allowing their fans to experience what makes Coldplay special, live and in person. Here is a list of the upcoming “A Head Full of Dreams Tour.”
