Game of Thrones Season 6: Is Pink Letter Plot Almost Confirmed?

The latest teaser trailer of Game of Thrones season 6 featured the voice-overs of Ramsay Bolton daring anyone to take the Winterfell, Khal Jhaqo who swallowed the large aimless army of Khal Drogo when he failed to lead them and subsequently died from illness,, and High Sparrow famous line about how the little guy if united in purpose could overthrow an empire. As the day comes near when the most spectacular TV show on earth will resume, the levels of excitement of the fans is going over the roof. If there is one distinct element in the trailer, it’s the possibility of show-makers attempting to do the pink-letter plot from the “Song of Ice and Fire” books, here are the excerpts of the letter written and signed by Ramsay Bolton:

“Your false king is dead, bastard. He and all his host were smashed in seven days of battle. I have his magic sword. Tell his red whore.

Your false king’s friends are dead. Their heads upon the walls of Winterfell. Come see them, bastard. Your false king lied, and so did you. You told the world you burned the King-Beyond-the-Wall. Instead you sent him to Winterfell to steal my bride from me.

I will have my bride back. If you want Mance Rayder back, come and get him. I have him in a cage for all the north to see, proof of your lies. The cage is cold, but I have made him a warm cloak from the skins of the six whores who came with him to Winterfell.

I want my bride back. I want the false king’s queen. I want his daughter and his red witch. I want this wildling princess. I want his little prince, the wildling babe. And I want my Reek. Send them to me, bastard, and I will not trouble you or your black crows. Keep them from me, and I will cut out your bastard’s heart and eat it.

Ramsay Bolton, Trueborn Lord of Winterfell.

pink letter plot

In Book 5, the letter was supposedly written by Ramsay Snow to Jon Snow, he was playing a bluff on Jon Snow when he claimed to have defeated Stannis’s armies but in the show, it has really happened. In the books, Ramsay marries a fake Arya Stark (a girl named Jeyne Poole) from King’s Landing but in the show, Ramsay got married to Sansa Stark delivered by Little finger at his doorstep.

Are we going to see a different version of “Battle for Winterfell”? Who is going to send the actual letter? What will be the game plan behind the letter? I guess let’s wait for the season 6 to come on 24.04.2016.
