After a disappointing result against Bordeaux in Europa League, Liverpool now face Norwich City at Anfield. This game’s result will affect not just the table but so many things.

Liverpool started the season well with seven points out of nine in the first three games. Two consecutive losses after that & #KloppToTheKop started trending. Football’s a funny game & Brendan Rodgers is definitely the joker as things have panned out.  Liverpool face the newly promoted Norwich City & as you hear the opponent’s name, you start remembering a genius that Liverpool lost in the form of Luis Suarez. Luis Suarez used to score for fun against The Canaries. However, things have changed massively over this course. Liverpool look weak in all departments & the most worrying thing is that they still can’t seem to score the goals & look clueless upfront. Jordan Henderson’s suffered a foot injury & he will be out for 6-8 weeks which is a major setback for Liverpool. Brendan Rodgers started Mamadou Sakho against Bordeaux & the Frenchman came on top. He has also signed a new contract which has been cherished by the fans. Phillipe Coutinho also comes back in the side after one match ban which he faced after getting red carded against West Ham United. Liverpool’s forgotten striker Daniel Sturridge has also resumed full training at Melwood & he might feature in the game as well in the final minutes. This is a game of massive magnitude & Liverpool don’t seem to have the luxury to lose this one.

After a convincing victory against The Cherries last week, Norwich City visit Anfield to cause a major upset. Norwich’s boss Alex Neil has lost just five times in 31 matches since arriving from Hamilton Academical. Norwich City opt for fluid attacking style whoever the opponent might be. Norwich’s left-back Robbie Brady seems to be exciting piece of business as he dazzles the crowd with his sheer pace. Steven Whittaker also comes straight into the side after the one game ban. Nathan Redmond has had his fair share of goals as well but the player who’s most enjoying at the moment is their attacking midfielder Wes Hoolahan who has got the highest number of assists this season as of now. Norwich’s striker Cameron Jerome will prove to be a tough opponent for Liverpool’s shaky defence. This is the best time for Alex Neil’s men to visit Anfield as Liverpool’s current form seem to raise a few eyebrows & they may very well stun the home crowd with the players they have got.
