Tony Stark aka Iron Man may be Marvel’s version of Fox’s Wolverine. The character has been the main reason for the start of Marvel Cinematic Universe and him, like wolverine has been featured in more MCU movies than any other Marvel superhero. Audiences have witnessed how Tony Stark has deteriorated in his personal life, how he has struggled with his demons of drinking and destroyed friendships. But could it take a teenage Spider-Man to change his life?
Tony Stark is set to appear in the upcoming Spider-Man homecoming, but for how long has yet to be indicated. The hero had reached out to the young Parker in Captain America and we had witnessed the blooming of what looked like a friendship in the making. And if fans of the comics would know, stark changes a bit due to Peter Parker. In the comic event Civil War, he becomes a surrogate father of sorts for Peter. This leads Stark to create a brand new suit for Spider-Man after his old suit gets destroyed. But would we see a fatherly side in the movie?

Iron Man director and actor Jon Favreau seems to think so. In his recent interview with CinemaBlend, Favreau discussed the relationship between Tony Stark and Peter Parker:
“I was so pleased with the tone of the film in general, but those sequences specifically, and I just loved the way they introduced the character. I love the version of Tony Stark I saw, especially in those scenes. As somebody who was part of the beginning of the screen persona of Tony Stark, I thought that this was really impressive and a wonderful expansion of that character.”
Favreau may be an expert in Iron Man, given that he directed the first two movies and produced the third one. He also produced both Avengers movies. The director also had nothing but positive things to say about the new Spider-Man,” I think Spider-Man made me smile every second the character was on the screen.” If that is the reaction he got from the director, it’s no doubt that Spider-Man will be changing Tony Stark’s life as well.
