The Vampire Diaries is one of the most riveting teens supernatural drama on TV for a number of years. It’s brought millions of young people into the fold of CW network which has grown tremendously in a very short amount of time. It is a story set in Mystic falls, a town in Virginia, haunted by supernatural creatures such as Vampires, Werewolves, Witches, and Heretics. In 2015, the lead actress Nina Dobrev (who plays Elena Gilbert/Katherine Pierce) confirmed on her Instagram page that she is leaving the show after the sixth season, but she is all set to reappear in the 8th season (probably the last one) which would only have 16 episodes. Right now, she is resting in a casket as her life is tied to Bonnie Bennett.
