Aquaman is maybe the most underrated superheroes of the D.C Universe. Batman and Superman may have overshadowed him for decades but that is all about to change. With the upcoming new Justice League movie and his own banner, Aquaman is going to rise up from everyone’s radar and be on everyone’s lips. The shots of Jason Mamoa as Aquaman has left his fans something to look forward to. He Was A Founding Member Of The Justice League:

Aquaman along with Batman, the Flash, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Superman, and Wonder Woman. Some have argued that Aquaman was just an additional character in the Justice League due to comic book editions of Justice League: Throne of Atlantis where he joined the team he had originally created.

The film versions have gone with Aquaman being a founding member as seen in WB’s Justice League and Batman Vs Superman where he made a cameo.

The rumor that has plagued Aquaman since the beginning of the comics is that he can talk to fish. The truth is, he cannot talk to them but has telepathic control over sea life. Since most sea life’s brains are too primal, he uses his telepathy to navigate and order a sea creature to do his bidding. He also protects the sea life and they help him in return in many of his adventures.
