A Major Revelation About LOGAN That Will Blow Your Mind

It’s almost unimaginable to even think of any other actor besides Hugh Jackman to bring Logan character to life. It’s confirmed that his character is inspired by “Old Man Logan” story based on dystopian future where villains finally prevailed after Wolverine was caught in a trap laid down by Mysterio. The antagonist character has been described as “a relentless, calculating and intense head of Security for a global enterprise who is set against Jackman’s clawed Wolverine/Logan hero”.

Simon Kinberg, the producer, revealed to Collider that Wolverine 3 will be R-rated. He further said “It’s a very radical, bold, different Wolverine then you’ve ever seen in any” of these movies. It’s violent, it’s kind of like a western in its tone. It’s just a very cool, different film.” Moreover, we might see “berserker rage” of Wolverine in Logan. It’s a mental state when Wolverine turns absolutely crazy, goes on a rampage, without thinking about the moral consequences of the act.

But Hugh Jackman is not the only one who is going to hang his boots from X-Men franchise, Patrick Stewart may be doing his last stint as the character Professor X. It’s important to understand how he will land up in Logan at the first place. In the X-Men: The Last Stand, Prof. Xavier was destroyed by Phoenix-possessed Jean Grey, although post-credits scene indicated that he managed to transfer his consciousness to a man in a coma, later X-Men: Days of Future Past managed to wipe the slate clean as Wolverine went into the past and prevented creation of Sentinels who would have decimated the mutant race.

Well, the movie Logan’s trailer has shown that it is set in a time period when mutant-kind are about to be eliminated and only two super-powerful mutants can somehow survive when everyone else fell to the ground. The central theme of the movie is aging and it makes a lot of sense for Prof. Xavier to be there, also young mutant Laura’s presence reflects the passing of the baton from the old guard to new guard.

The final wolverine movie is going to hit theaters on March 3, 2017.
