1) Captain America: The First Avenger

Premise: It was based on defeating the Axis threats during World War II.

 2) Agent Carter

Premise: Peggy Carter is consigned to a desk job at the Strategic Scientific Reserve. Here only male agents were permitted to participate in field work. Peggy eventually began moonlighting as an agent that led her to reconnect with her former cohort, Howard Stark.
