Avengers Infinity War To Feature World’s Most Famous Secret Society

Marvel Cinematic Universe is preparing itself for their November release Doctor Strange. The reviews that it has received so far from the press from early previews have been nothing but positive. Many journalists who attended the premiere claim that the movie has some of the best visuals and action sequences to ever grace the MCU.

The entrance of Doctor Strange has also got many to wonder if there would be any chance of an Illuminati entrance into MCU. At a Doctor Strange press conference in Los Angeles, producer and Marvel head Kevin Feige answered this query with a juicy tease:

“Well, what’s fun about the Illuminati is that there are certain characters interacting with other certain characters, so I don’t know about that particular storyline, but certainly some of those characters you will see on screen in the next Avengers.”

In the comics, the Illuminati are a group of Marvel Comic’s most powerful and brilliant minds. The secret society was brought together by Tony Stark and its members include Professor X, Black Panther, Namor, Mr. Fantastic, Black Bolt, Doctor Strange and Iron Man. Marvel’s most powerful group used their brilliance to protect the planet against extraterrestrial threats.

How and when the Illuminati will feature, Feige did not comment on. The producer has been known to give hints that either is actually huge easter eggs or just teasers to make fans more curious. Marvel also has been known to bring huge comic arcs to the screen, “Civil War” being one of the most successful interpretations to date in the MCU. Although it’s doubtful that Mr. Fantastic or Professor X will actually feature in the MCU movie, who knows what the future will bring. Marvel had successfully re-introduced Spider-Man into the fold with a positive reception from fans, so anything is possible.
