The show-makers of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. announced before the commencement of the season that the popular comic-book character Ghost Rider will appear in season 4. At the San-Diego Comic-Con, a tram was showcased which had a flaming chain, and fans rightly perceived it as a cue for Ghost rider.
Finally, we did see him in the show, the famous actor Gabriel Luna (Tony Bravo in Matador) has been cast to play the role. He is the most recent incarnation of Ghost rider i.e Robbie Reyes instead of Johnny Blaze. He uses his amazing powers to help innocent people. He is driving a car on fire and dispensing vigilante justice to criminals. He has the power to teleport himself into the car. He has blended perfectly into the narrative and is keeping the audience on the edge throughout. Well, there is now a real possibility of a spin-off show based on Ghost-rider due to the impressive response of the fans. At NYCC, 2016 when Gabriel Luna was asked about the idea of a standalone series on Ghost-rider, he seemed optimistic and thinks that the rumblings of it may have already begun at the Marvel studio.

Johnny Blaze, the Ghost Rider debut in 1972 as part of the ensemble and later got his own series in 1973 which lasted till 1983.
