The DC Extended Universe has struggled to live up to the expectations of the fan. Movies like Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad didn’t do as well as it was supposed to do. With the introduction of the Justice League and the Green Lantern Corps, there is no doubt that DCEU will get another chance. After the Ryan Reynolds’ version flopped so badly in 2011. There are many actors joined the league who could play Green Lantern in the DCEU Justice League.
1) Nathan Fillion (Hal Jordan)
Hal Jordan is quite reckless through his absolute lack of fear and willpower that could be easily played by Nathan Fillion. His Firefly character Malcolm Reynolds was all about this. Moreover, he has already voiced Jordan superbly in a number of DC animated features.
2) Tyres Gibson (John Stewart)
Tyres Gibson would make a great John Stewart, having demonstrated the kind of regimented behavior in his role as Chief Master Sergeant Robert Epps in the Transformers franchise, and the reckless fearlessness of a Green Lantern in his role as Roman Pearce in the Fast and Furious franchise.
3) Ben Mckenzie (Hal Jordan)
Ben Mckenzie has portrayed a young version of James Gordan in the TV series Gotham. He makes a great Hal Jordan and his portrayal of Gordan epitomizes why.
4) Michael Jai White (John Stewart)
He is no stranger to the superhero movie, as he had prior experience of doing roles in two Toxic Avenger outings, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, The Dark Knight, and most notably, as the titular character in Spawn.
5) Brett Dalton (Hal Jordan)
Although Brett Dalton is quite young to play the role of Hal Jordan, and he hasn’t done many movies. , but his role in Shield as Agent Grant Ward is enough to prove that he actually can be a pretty decent outside option. But his connection with Marvel may play a quite negative role.
