Virender Sehwag: Nawab of Najafgarh to Nawab of Twitter

The microblogging website Twitter is not that much popular among the common man, the reason might be it is considered as a source of news, and an intellectual site where everything is quite boring. But, it is not like that. Twitter is a place where you can find many hilarious tweets that no medium carries.

The Twitter account of Cricketer Virender Sehwag is becoming as popular as his batting. The cricketer didn’t spare anyone be it a political or nonpolitical person. Recently when a British journalist Piers Morgan slammed Indian’s on celebrating two medals at Rio Olympics 2016, “Country with 1.2 billion people wildly celebrates 2 losing medals. How embarrassing is that?”  Virender Sehwag didn’t miss an opportunity to take him, and replied him in a most amazing manner, “We cherish every small happiness’, But Eng who invented Cricket, & yet 2 win a WC, still continue to play WC. Embarrassing?”

Virender Sehwag didn’t spare Shobha De for her insensitive tweet “Goal of Team India at the Olympics: Rio jao. Selfies lo. Khaali haat wapas aao. What a waste of money and opportunity,” during Rio Olympics.

After Sakshi Malik won the bronze medal he thanked her in his own way: “#SakshiMalik ke gale me medal kitna “Sobha De” raha hai na !!! #HappyRakshaBandhan.”

then he didn’t stopped — “Poora Bharat is baat ka Sakshi hai, jab koi bht mushkil ho toh is desh ki ladkiyan hi Malik hain. Thank U#SakshiMalik”

Or like the time when he uses his account to wish his fellow cricketer and former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar on his 41st birthday, ‘Chalti firti Titanic, Doobiyo mat’ with a hashtag #Shoibkibdayparty which soon started trending in India.

He wished MS Dhoni in a most amazing way and soon hashtag #NationalHelicopterDay” started trending. The others include Don Bradman’s, Lasith Malinga’s, Kevin Pietersen’s birthday.

Here is the another sixer:

Everyone will agree, Translation of his tweets will be an injustice to the humor. I am sure many of us will be logging in on Twitter to just have a glance at  Virender Sehwag’s account.
